Featured Prison: St. Louis Correctional Facility
November 18th, 2009 by CourtneySo, today we’re looking at the St. Louis Correctional Facility in St. Louis, Michigan. The prison, in Gratiot County, opened in 1999 and houses medium security and closed custody level inmates. It has a capacity of around 1200 offenders.
Recently Saint Louis Correctional Facility was in the news when, on Tuesday afternoon, a gang fight broke out amongst 11 inmates in the prison’s lunchroom. 3 correctional officers were hurt in the brawl, sending one of them to the hospital.
